I guess you can move the new method to RouterRpcServer and use it in all the
classes.
In addition, the method can return a class parameter instead of {{long.class}}
and then you can use it everywhere.
BTW, there are a few empty lines changes in [^HDFS-14215-HDFS-13891-06.patch];
can we avoid those?
