[~elek] Thanks for the insightful comments. Q1 is definitely something we can 
add to the next draft of the doc and figure out how we can surface this info.

I think a bunch of stats that Recon collects can be exposed has higher order 
metric data compared to what OM / SCM generate and we can send those to 
Prometheus backend. So, even though a point in time snapshot is what Recon DB 
represents a historical timeseries would be valuable too.
I haven't worked out the specific timeseries we will support but thanks for 
putting that on the plate.
