Sorry I missed [~xkrogen]'s previous comment when posting the patch (should've
refreshed the page). This is one alternative I thought of as well. I was mainly
concerned about the complexity of having multiple primary checker and I am not
sure yet if there is any other place that is based on the assumption of one
primary checker. But yeah, this does worth considering, looking into this.
