The hadoop-hdfs-client.jar is missing hdfs-default.xml which defines default
client configs/values such as "dfs.namenode.kerberos.principal.pattern".
Previously hdfs-default.xml came with hadoop-client (pre 2.8) as it was in
hadoop-hdfs.jar. However the hdfs-default.xml no longer comes with
hadoop-client as it does not exist in hadoop-hdfs-client.jar
