Sorry for coming late, Thanks a lot for making the patch on trunk as well!
Cos, Patch mostly looks good. But one problem is IOUtils.socketClose() repeated
in the patch. Because socket close already handle in try block itself for
IOEceptions. To avoid confusions i just made it sync with 22 as well.
Here is a patch for trunk (only src changes). I will file separate JIRA for
faultinjection test.
