I just like to make sure I understand the behavior of this patch more carefully:
does it mean that until the upgrade is finalized, namenode can not persist
erasure coding information, and therefore a user should not start using erasure
coding until finalize is done?
If so, I think we should document this behavior somewhere (in the release note
or the "HDFS Rolling Upgrade" doc) as it is not so obvious. Thanks!
