We should have a test that tests the 2NN with a single local directory failure
and asserts that:
# Multiple failed checkpoints don't wipe out the last successful checkpoint
# The checkpoint fails cleanly and the 2NN stays up
Per HDFS-3661 we can't currently tolerate a directory failure. Can update this
test in that jira when we can.
