Eli Collins updated HDFS-4053:
------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 3.0.0
Target Version/s: (was: 3.0.0)
Hadoop Flags: Reviewed
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
I've committed this.
What do people think about changing this in branch-2? Given that it's a
compatible change (only affects newly written blocks, and we support multiple
block sizes today) might be worth considering.

> The default HDFS block size ({{dfs.blocksize}}) has been 64mb forever. 128mb
> works well in practice on today's hardware configurations, most clusters I
> work with use it or higher (eg 256mb). Let's bump to 128mb in trunk for v3.
