I'd still prefer to wait a few days before checking this in. Folks often ask
for this and it's usually honored. I'd prefer to not wait until merge time to
give feedback on this design and implementation, since as we saw recently merge
time is often so late as to make changes to the design difficult. I haven't
even had a chance yet to thoroughly review the updated design doc. I hope you
appreciate my desire to fully understand the intended design before a lot of
time is invested in implementing it.
I suppose if you're so chomping at the bit to get this checked in to the branch
that you can't wait until a few days then I can live with that, but waiting for
a few days would be appreciated.
