Uploading patch. For
{{TestStandbyCheckpoints#testStandbyExceptionThrownDuringCheckpoint}}, most of
the test execution time occurs in generating a large number of edits. The test
already takes a long time, so I compromised by reducing the number of edits it
generates and increasing the test timeout.
