Hi Vrushali,
ViewFileSystem is a purely client-side abstraction, each client can have their
own viewfs mount points, and the federated namenodes are unaware of where they
are mounted as well as the list of other namenodes/mount points.
I think something like this is only really possible with a single sharded
namespace, not the client-side mount table that ViewFileSystem provides. Maybe
I missed something, but we should probably close this JIRA as wontfix.
