Haohui Mai commented on HDFS-5333:
----------------------------------

Just to make sure that we are on the same page, are we reaching the consensus
that we are making the new web UI as default, and at the same time we provide
the access for the old web UI?

Also, I put up a command-line tool that provides the same set of information of
web UI using the JMX interface, which is available at
https://github.com/haohui/dfshealth-cli

The tool is based on node.js, and it obviously has some rough edges. However,
it will solve the usability issue for CLI users. We can continue to improve
this tool and eventually to merge it into the main repository.
