I've entered the sub-task break-down. My own initial focus is going to be
HDFS-5594 and HDFS-5595. These two are pre-requisites for a lot of the other
sub-tasks. After that, it will be easier for multiple people to work in
parallel across the various interfaces and NameNode implementation details.
