Gotcha, all makes sense. Thanks a lot for the very lucid explanation, Chris.
One suggestion - should we perhaps use this JIRA to improve the comment for
{{AclStorage#createFsPermissionForExtendedAcl}} to make it clear that there is
no bug here? Empirically, it's not entirely obvious given that it took me by
surprise. :)
