Lei (Eddy) Xu commented on HDFS-6808:
-------------------------------------

Hi, I've run those failed tests on my local machine with the patch applied to
trunk.

TestWebHdfsFileSystemContract, TestEncryptionZonesWithKMS and
TestPipelinesFailover run successfully.

TestJournalNode is failed with outputs:
{noformat}
Failed tests:
  TestJournalNode.testFailToStartWithBadConfig:290->assertJNFailsToStart:300
Expected to find 'Can not create directory' but got unexpected
exception:org.apache.hadoop.util.DiskChecker$DiskErrorException: Cannot create
directory: /proc/does-not-exist
        at org.apache.hadoop.util.DiskChecker.checkDir(DiskChecker.java:105)
        ....
{noformat}

Looks like no related to HDFS-6808.

{{TestStorageMover}} failed as the same as running it on trunk and it seems to
fail in other JIRAs. So I think it is not related as well.

> Add command line option to ask DataNode reload configuration.

> The workflow of dynamically changing data volumes on DataNode is
> # Users manually changed {{dfs.datanode.data.dir}} in the configuration file
> # User use command line to notify DN to reload configuration and updates its
> volumes.
> This work adds command line support to notify DN to reload configuration.
