If it helps any, the hadoop-env.sh rewrite as part of HADOOP-9902 and friends
made it much more obvious how to do gc logging, etc, for the NFS code. In
branch-2 and earlier, the HADOOP_NFS3_OPTS basically wasn't really documented.
