Assuming you have a radiance image (not irradiance), the luminance can be derived like so:
Luminance = (R*0.265+G*0.670+B*0.065)*179 -Rob Rob Guglielmetti NREL Commercial Buildings Research Group Golden, CO 80401 [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: nithya merin [[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>] Sent: Monday, November 11, 2013 10:03 PM Mountain Standard Time To: [email protected] Subject: [HDRI] What is done with pixel R,G and B values? Hi, In order to get the luminance value for each pixel what is the calculation done (process behind this) after getting pixel R, G and B values. Thankyou Nithya
