the system is a few years old, but i have never had a problem wit\h it till a few days ago. it was hooked up to my vcr and like i said no problems whatsoever, but 2 days ago i noticed a hissing sound from the speakers. but when i hooked up the surround sound to my HD cable box, there was no hissing. i tried a new vcr and there was still a hissing, is it the vcr? surround sound receiver? speakers? i dont know. anyone with info please email me back or post here.
