I have a book from I. L. Peretz translated from Yiddish into Hebrew.  The title 
is החוכר.  It has nekudot in the piece (see below).  Unfortunately, I’m not 
familiar with Peretz’s work enough to know the original Yiddish title, which I 
would need for classification and for a preferred title.  Google Translate 
didn’t help.

Any help would be much appreciated.
