Dear SACO Community, As we close out 2024, I wanted to give folks a preview of new workflows and initiatives coming in January 2025. First, the Policy, Training, and Cooperative Programs (PTCP) Division will introduce a new workflow for all projects generated by SACO members. A project is defined as at least 20 proposals (for new, changed, or canceled headings) on a similar theme and made at the same time. Second, the SACO Volunteer Trainers will be launching SACO Shorts. SACO Shorts will provide advice on common proposal problems and will answer frequently asked questions about SACO work. A new SACO Short will be released on SACOLIST on the first and third Mondays of the month throughout 2025. After publication on SACOLIST, SACO Shorts will also be posted online to the SACO website (URL forthcoming). Watch for our first SACO Short, "No work cat," coming on January 6.
