Hi, Haim, thank you for your question!

HCM-RDA instructs us to use Rav-milim in cases where terms are not found in
E-Sh. Looking there, the word is vocalized עַלְאָדָם (with a variant for a
hyphenated form, עַל-אָדָם). Since your version is a single word, you'd have
the special characters for both the 'ayin at the beginning of the word and for
the alef in the middle of the word --> ṿe-ʻalʼadam.

Please let me know if there are further questions. Kol tuv, Jasmin

Hey all,

Happy Wednesday!!

I am cataloging an E_CIP, which is a translation of a Hebrew work. The Hebrew
book is:

אפולו, דיוניסוס ועלאדם בסיני

The English title is:

Apollo, Dionysus and Übermensch at Sinai

My question is on ועלאדם. How would this word be vocalized and Romanized? I am
thinking perhaps ve-‘aladam. I did not find this word in ES.

Stay warm,

Haim
