Finally, I succeeded to build an up-to-date version of OpenOffice from
the CVS (20030223 was found to be amazingly stable and easy to build,
in comparison with all the other tags and releases that I tried. Of
course, nothing is easy when dealing with CVS of OpenOffice, but
everything is relative... ;-).

It looks perfect so far.

>From first look, the BiDi looks well too (though I'm convinced that
Shoshannah will beat it to death... ;-)

So now, after the heaviest "pkak" was released, I'm looking forward.

Next steps:
===========
1: Merge it with TkOS localizations.
1.5: Release it to beta testers.
2:   Improve the import/export filters.
2.5: Release it, based on a newer release than 20030223.
3:   Integrate hspell into it.
4: Final version, hopefully from Sun and not from us.

In parallel with the above:
===========================
1. Intensive QA by Shoshannah and volunteers (Boaz, I want them to
   start immediately; I'll call you today).
2. Training Yonathan how to build it.

I believe that the highest priority should be the Windows versions of
swriter (the word processor) and simpress (the presentations tool),
because a word processor is the most important part of any office
suite, and because simpress is critical for future presentations of us
(we don't want Boaz' presentation to crash in the middle or the Hebrew
and English letters to stick to each other, do we? ;-)

The next priority is a Linux version. The Israeli Linuxers really
deserve a real Hebrew word processor...

(when I write "swriter" or "simpress", I don't mean that only these
tools will be delivered, but that only these tools will pass our
process, i.e. QA/translation/filters. But the suite will always be
delivered as a complete suite. And in any case, the plan is to
localize all the parts).
