Hi Yechiel,
To use OOo for Hebrew on RedHat Linux you need to do (at least) two
things:
1. Fonts
You need to install Hebrew fonts using the program/spadmin tool. You can
purchase your own fonts or find free fonts at present.
In the near future Sun will provide four or five Hebrew fonts for use in
OpenOffice and StarOffice.
2. Keyboard Mapping
You need to install your own Hebrew keymap. I use the Hebrew keymap that I
donloaded from pango.org. However, I believe that Tzafrir Cohen, whos is
subscribed to the linux.org.il mailing list, has a more advanced version
that includes diacritics ("nikud").
