the tar balls for 1.1 rc3 will be uploaded tonight. There are some issue we have to do before releasing this as final:
* localized builds (9 additional ones). will be build tommorrow. we have to remove 1.1rc localized builds for disk space.
* provide localized helpcontent with license (#12130)
* provide source file for helpcontent (#15542)
* online help's support file is empty (#17458)
* include OOo_install_guide (#4766) this means the rc3 install set have not included this document since it's not finalized yet : repackaging has to be done if available.
* folder in install tar balls is still named OOo_1.1rc3_*, repackaging for final is neccassary.
* review of rc3 changes (pedantic mode by hr and mh and others)
* integration of changes of rc3 into 1.1 and 2.0 codeline. rc3 is in sync with 1.1 codeline, so no additional changes are there after reintegration into 1.1 so Hamburg RE will perform clean rebuild of OOo 1.1 on master and will provide CVS tag.
* announcement of OOo1.1rc3. can we do this until Thurday evening ?
* this will let us (Release Committee) a week time until August 21 to evaluate any objections for release as 1.1. Release committee has to make decision about doing a hot fix on master (additional approval by Hamburg RE required, is difficult ) or if we have to go with a rc4 cws; otherwise ooo111rc can be created.
* if rc3 get approved, create 1.1 for upload, so that possible announcement could be August 25th. We should also have a status then for
* localized builds (which will already be available, which ones to be expexted)
* ports (which are available then, what's the plan for the remaining ones).
please let me know, if I missed something or if we have anything to change in this plan.
If anyone wants to claim an issue as stopper, he should prepared to answer why this issue has not been reported earlier ;)
