Anyone on this list asked to be on the list and sent a confirmation
message.
AFAIK OOo registration program does not send out any information unless
you voluntarily register, unlike some competing products. You don't have
to register your copy of OOo. If you do register, nothing gets sent to
openoffice.org.il. In fact, I don't even know where the info does get
sent.
BTW, we had enough trouble just getting majordomo to work under qmail on a
server with 128Mb RAM. Getting the OOo installation program to
automatically register folks to our mailing list is probably beyond our
capabilities, assuming we would want to do such a thing.
