Hi Shachar,
I opened the test.sxw document in OOo 2.0 (680) and exported it to .doc. I
then opened the exported file in Word 2000. The resulting document in Word
2000 looks identical on the screen and printed as test.sxw in OOo 2.0.

I was not able to export test.sxw to .doc format under OOo 1.1.0. I
received a StarBasic error dialog box that re-appeared infinitely when I
pressed "Ok".

I opened test.sxw using OOo 1.1.1b and exported it to .doc. I then
opened the exported test.doc file in OOo 1.1.1b. The result look identical
to the original test.sxw file.

My conclusion is that the export bugs demonstrated by test.sxw in 1.1.0
were fixed both in 1.1.1 and 2.0.

I'm still looking for examples of import/export problems between MS and
OOo that are not fixed yet in 1.1.1 or 2.0.

I can confirm your results, using OOo 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 stable editions, except that I did not get the error you mentioned when trying to save the *,sxw document as an MS Word document under OOo1.1.0 (on Mandrake 10 Linux).

In addition, the fonts for both the Hebrew and the English text looked clearer in OOo1.1.1 .

Howard.
