I updated the roadmap for the OOo 2.0 release on

June 2004: OOo 2.0 EA (early access)
June/July 2004: UI freeze/feature complete OOo 2.0 Alpha, start of
localization work.
September 2004: OOo 2.0 Beta Release Candidates
October 2004: OOo 2.0 Beta
November 2004: OOo 2.0 changes will be done on separated branch, the
trunk (HEAD) will then be user for the next OOo major (3.0 ?) release.
December 2004: OOo 2.0 rc
January 2005: OOo 2.0
In this moment there are about 2100 open issues with target OOo 2.0 in
IssueTracker. To come down to a reasonable amount of open issues until
beta phase beginning in September, we will review single issues more
careful if they are release relevant for 2.0 or not.
Utomo, I don't think that Sun will shift a relevant amount of resources
to get more desired features in, but at the moment the tree is still
open for new features from non-Sun resources :). But of course there is
the possiblilty that there will be changes to the plan because of
reviewing priorities and feedback.
