Btw, is it > still reproducible with plain qemu-system-x86_64? Ok, I built on another machine and cannot reproduce either (qemu-kvm-0.12.5). So the problem seems to be with the qemu/system I'm running here. I'll build qemu from source sometime later and let you know if I encounter any problems.
