I am newbie in field of open source, so I want to start with some easy bug, but there are many bugs which are listed as minor but requires a lot previous knowledge
You know, there is a fair chance that solving almost every single HelenOS ticket from our Trac requires at least some previous knowledge -- either previous knowledge of HelenOS or general knowledge of operating systems principles (or maybe both).
Therefore it is really helpful to first gain some of the knowledge before trying to tackle the tickets. I suggest familiarizing yourself with the source code of HelenOS, employing your playful spirit, changing things in a trial/error fashion and observing the effects, etc.
