Here are my notes and impressions from the meeting. I was talking with
Carol and the summary message is that we did okay but they just could not
accept all organizations that apply.

In more detail: there were a lot of OS organizations this year and
apparently Google wants the spectrum of organizations (types) as wide as
possible. So, not all OS organizations were accepted this year. Even Minix
didn't make it. AFAIK only Illumos and RTEMS made it through. Another thing
is that a lot of new organizations were accepted this year and quite a
number of "veterans" weren't accepted because of that.

Our application and ideas page was okay. Citing Carol, "i like that you
have it broken down with required skills and possible mentors and all that".

I also asked whether the fact that last year from 5 projects only 2 passed
the final evaluation has any impact on our rejection this year. It looks
that this does not influenced the decision. Which shall not be, after all,
a surprise if GSoC should be about writing good code.

Carol also said that we should apply next year.

That is all, there wasn't much to ask once I learned that we weren't
accepted simply because of the amount of orgs that applied.
