Hi,

I've been testing boot images in advance of 0.11.2 release and it's not
looking all that good. Focusing just on images that should be able to run
emulated:

* ia64/ski, msim, sparc64/niagara and sparc64/ultra all boot fine, but get
stuck in some (different) kernel test (either that or it takes waaay too
long)

* mips32/malta-le, mips32/malta-be image is too big and fails to load

* riscv64 gets stuck after it writes "Booting the kernel..."

* arm32/raspberrypi .. upstream qemu does not support raspi1p, only raspi2(!
) when I run it as raspi2, it does not do anything

the other images that can be run in emulator work fine.

Can anyone give me insight on the state of riscv64 and raspberrypi? How
about hikey960? Are these ports in state where it makes sense to release
images? Should we release gta02 image if we know it hasn't been able to
fully boot for a couple of years? (needs fixing!)

riscv64 is missing wiki documentation (http://www.helenos.org/wiki/
HardwareSupport)

hikey960 has just a stub written by me

Can I ask those knowledgable to document these new ports?

Thanks,

Jiri

Testing boot & kernel tests
===========================
  arm32/beagleboardxm - need to test HW
  arm32/beaglebone - will not test?
  arm32/gta02 - is it worthwhile to test (we know it takes too long to boot
and does not boot properly)
  arm32/raspberry pi emulation not working with mainstream qemu (no raspi1
ap, raspi2 does not seem to work)
  arm64/hikey960 - will not test
  ia64/i460GX .. will not test?
  ia64/ski .. seems to get stuck in some kernel memory test
  mips32/malta-be boot image too big!!! FAIL TO BOOT
  mips32/malta-le boot image too big!!! FAIL TO BOOT
  msim .. boots OK, kernel tests stuck in semaphore1(?)
  riscv64 .. stuck after "Booting the kernel..."
  sparc64/niagara .. stuck in kernel mapping1 test
  sparc64/ultra ... stuck in kernel memory test
