Scribe: JS JJ == * With sparc64/sun4u ew.py -nographic should produce a serial console (it does not) * Likes ticket #833 (Tester malloc1 fails with -march=pentium4) and may look into it * Thinks #833 et al could be related to #464 (FPU preserved registers not preserved across fibril switches) * Observed sparc64/sun4u in graphical mode somethimes gets stuck during boot JSv === * It was good that we had the What's new video available at the time of release * We have a backlong of around 75 bugs. We should allot time to fixing bugs and not let it grow. In fact, seems like we should be able to work through it and resolve (almost) all bugs, which would be great * Implemented kernel support for Qemu sun4u keyboard, but there is a bug, if typing too fast, it gets stuck, so not commited yet * In order for sun4u kernel to support Sun and PC keyboard (Qemu), it needs to do scancode translation (JJ is okay with that) * Bugs #848 (Sticking PS/2 mouse in Qemu, unless full-screen) and #849 (Cursor wrapping around the top of the screen in EGA console / Qemu) are bugs in Qemu and seem to have been fixed between 5.2.0 and 6.2.0 (or not reproduced in the new default config, anyway) so closed them * Closed bugs #812, #818, #819 as they were already fixed, just forgotten. * Menu can now be activated and controlled using F10, arrow keys, Enter, Escape (next step is to support keyboard accelerators)
