Hi all,

I am in my second year of Computer Science at MFF, so I'm currently choosing a topic for my student project. From the archived GSoC idea lists I found http://www.helenos.org/ticket/358 , which looks very interesting to me. Is the information there still valid? Was there any relevant progress in interrupt handling since this was written? I briefly checked the code and the irq_cmd_t structures are still present in many places in the code, so I suppose a better solution wasn't found yet, but I'm still asking since it's quite an old ticket.

Of course, before starting some implementation, I'd draft the pseudocode spec to make sure it suits all needs. But I want to avoid diving into understanding the interrupt handling before knowing at least that there is still some interest in this.

Also I would like to ask to register a Trac user account to continue the discussion in the ticket thread - the registration page pointed me to ask in this list.

Thanks

Matěj Volf
