Hello,

it is my pleasure to announce that three theses about HelenOS were
defended recently. Congratulations!

I am all for merging them as soon as possible because all of them
improve HelenOS usability - and fun with it - a lot. After all,

Matěj's work allows us to run Rust applications in HelenOS, including
a port of a rather sophisticated GUI library (though the full
integration to HelenOS would be rather complex),

Nataliia had added the ability to capture packets in all network cards
in HelenOS (and a small browser for the captured data too) which can
significantly improve network debugging

and Miroslav implemented support for a wide variety of software RAIDs
with great attention to high throughput of his solution.

The text of the theses are available on the following links, PRs are
on GitHub (the text of the RAID thesis is not yet publicly available).

On a related note, recently was also defended a thesis implementing a
simplified network card in MSIM and hopefully will land in the next
release.

Cheers,
- Vojtech
