Hi List I'm running cf-engine 3 on freebsd 7.2, on one of my cf-agent I keep receiving the following error in reports in the /var/cfengine/outputs/ directory:
"Validation: Error reading assumed integer value vH" The error doesn't seem to be related to any syntax issues in the .cf files in the inputs directory, and I'm at a loss as to how to interpret this error message and what it's cause might be. To try and understand where and why this error message is appearing I've tried the following steps, without success: 1. deleted everything under /var/cfengine except the "inputs" directory and the most basic files needed to bootstrap 2. then run cf-agent -bootstrap to restore the structure of /var/cfengine 3. checked the syntax of all .cf files in the inputs directory for syntax errors, using "cf-promises" 4. stop/start the cf-serverd in debug, no-fork, verbose mode (no useful information appears in the debug results) What generally would be the cause of this error message, and is there a way I can drill down to the most likely cause of it?
