After some experimentation I tried the cf-serverd from 3.0.3 and it failed,
same files, 3.0.2b5 works so in the meantime I have rolled my cf-serverd
back to 3.0.2b5 and that seems to take care of my pressing need.   But I can
duplicate on several machines all linux (centos 5) if you need more
information let me know.
