On the same host (debian), using the same configure, make steps in 3.1.0 and
3.1.1 produces something different.

n...@ettin ~/src $ file cfengine-3.1.0/src/cf-promises
cfengine-3.1.0/src/cf-promises: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1
(SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.8, not stripped
n...@ettin ~/src $ file cfengine-3.1.1/src/cf-promises
cfengine-3.1.1/src/cf-promises: POSIX shell script text executable

These shell script wrappers in 3.1.1 are new to me. In the past I've copied
the binaries to masterfiles from src after a make. I can't do that here. As
previous posts in this thread show even a make install seems to produces
binaries that are linked wrong. What have I done wrong?
