The winning combination: userX> cd ~/.cfagent/ppkeys userX> cp root-remotehost.pub userX-remotehost.pub ( or .. MD5 .. naming style ).
The seg fault goes away and seems to work allright. Previous version worked only with root-remotehost.pub in the directory. Maybe it's worth documenting somewhere the exact steps to setup rbac for 3.1.4 on .. as it's really a cool feature of cf3. Thanks, mlz.
