Hi, Mine is a rhel 6 64 bit OS. I was able tpo compile successfully. But when i try to to run , the cfekey i get the error. [root@RHEL60x64 cfengine-2.1.21]# /opt/soe/local/cfengine/sbin/cfkey Making a key pair for cfengine, please wait, this could take a minute... Writing private key to /var/opt/soe/local/soe_cfengine/workdir/ppkeys/localhost.priv Illegal instruction (core dumped) Also, an ldd on cf key shows up some issues. [root@RHEL60x64 sbin]# ldd cfkey linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007fffaf933000) librt.so.1 => /lib64/librt.so.1 (0x0000003165600000) libdl.so.2 => /lib64/libdl.so.2 (0x0000003164200000) libnss_nis.so.2 => /lib64/libnss_nis.so.2 (0x00007f7e45a6d000) libpthread.so.0 => /lib64/libpthread.so.0 (0x0000003164a00000) libm.so.6 => /lib64/libm.so.6 (0x0000003165200000) libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x0000003164600000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x0000003163e00000) libnsl.so.1 => /lib64/libnsl.so.1 (0x0000003167600000) libnss_files.so.2 => /lib64/libnss_files.so.2 (0x00007f7e4585f000) while searching through some forum , i found that there were some issue with this particular 2.1.21 version on x86_64 platforrms.
