# cf-report !! Nothing to report - nothing selected I can't figure out how to use cf-report. Is there a getting started guide or tutorial for this? I went hunting around in the docs and didn't find anything specific on how to actually use this. Note that I am new to cfengine3 but I did use cfengine2 at another job and was very successful with it. Part of the confusion is also that I have started a new job and I am inheriting a mish-mash of servers, undocumented, inconsistent. Some of them are running cfengine, but I'm not really clear on what I have. What I really want (at the very least) is a list of hosts that have connected to the cfengine master server, and also if possible, more information about those hosts, that have run cf-agent. Preferably, I would also have a nagios alert to tell me if cfengine is failing as well. I get the idea that cf-report can be a tool to get me where I want, and that I can add some sort of report "promise", but I have no idea how to do that without an example.
