Forum: CFEngine Help Subject: Skipping apparent virtual interface? Author: dcdefranco Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,22785,22785#msg-22785
I was hoping to the sys.ipv4 variable to edit some configuration files and I've hit a snag. I'm running RedHat enterprise 5 with bonded NICs. I have two IP's assigned to the bond so my interfaces with IP's assigned are bond0 and bond0:1. I can use $(sys.ipv4) without any problems but when I use $(sys.ipv4) I get the string "$(sys.ipv4)" instead of the actual value. When I look at the cf-agent output I see the following: cf3 Interface 1: lo cf3 Interface 2: bond0 cf3 Adding alias foo.bar.com cf3 Skipping apparent virtual interface 3: bond0:1 Is there a way to get cfegine to not skip the virtual interface? Any help is appreciated _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list Help-cfengine@cfengine.org https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
