Forum: CFEngine Help Subject: Re: Should Clients & Servers share a promises.cf file? Author: ryanwilliams Link to topic: https://cfengine.com/forum/read.php?3,23025,23059#msg-23059
Thank you for your advice thus far, To clarify for others, the classify function checks for the existance of a class and cfengine creates a class matching the hostname at runtime. I've used cfengine to ensure that cf-serverd is running on my phost and not running on my clients but i would still like to be able to make the "body server control" block different between server and clients. What is the best practise way of doing this?, As per the example in the reference manual my "body server control" block lies in promises.cf _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list [email protected] https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
