I started a bare bones configuration for getting new installations started. It basically just runs an update, starts cf-execd and cf-serverd. It also includes the Cfengine Community Open Promise-Body Library. It can be found at: http://home.rbcarleton.com/rbc/cf3/ You just have to modify update.cf and promises.cf to reflect your network addresses and security realities. After that you can start adding site specific configurations.
