Okay, this one should work. Let's figure out why it does not accept -Agcc option, which worked well. Could you have a look at documentation (which is apparently not distributed to mere mortals) and find any compilation flag to enable C99 level or enable GCC compatibility? Corresponding piece of configure is near comment saying "Set GCC CFLAGS only if using GCC". > This one is on PA-RISC 11.23.
