I installed 3.3.0a1 from source. The installer created /var/cfengine dirs, now I want to populate masterfiles/ with the distribution promises.cf, failsafe.cf, and cfengine_stdlib.cf. In the past, I have copied these from /usr/local/share/cfengine/masterfiles. Now I see that there is a /var/cfengine/share dir which contains two notable dirs: CoreBase/ and docs/example_config/ Both dirs contain distribution .cf files. What's the functional difference between the promises.cf and failsafe.cf in CoreBase/ and example_config/ ?
