That would be cool. It seems to be a pattern I do a lot with svn. And now I have a way to do it with git. Threw this together https://gist.github.com/2720338 It needs some work. Not sure how to optionally shim in the executing user. contains dont like to be quoted so I coudlnt jsut specify the container with a variable.
