The people who added Debian and Sun never updated the docs. Debian support has been around since early 2.1.x IIRC, and Sun support since maybe like 2.1.10 or 11. I added some skeleton references to them in the docs updates in this patch so at least people know they are there, but it'd be nice if the folks who added those could build on that and document any particular nuances of their package managers, if they exist.
