[h-e-w] HTML tools and line endings

I wonder if anyone knows how different HTML tools (HTML, CS and 
JavaScript editors; webservers etc) handle end of lines. Can the 
different tools handle LF line endings (the line endings used on unixes) 
on MS Windows? (Where the line endings normally are CR-LF.)

Anyone knows about Mac computers?
