Yes, thanks for the tip! I downloaded Emacs-22-CvsP061212-EmacsW32-1.12.exe and that one fixes the emacsclient problem. But it seems that this new version is missing some image libraries. The toolbar images are dull black and white outlines, and the Gnus logo is also monochrome. But that's off topic for this thread ;) Niels
