To reply to myself, while not really the answer, assuming you are using
Firefox then Firebug allows editing the HTML in Firefox before printing. Not
sure I want to manually edit the diary every time I print it out, but it is
a sort of solution and possibly saves some steps if you are printing via
HTML.

I am using the fancy diary script from the Diary wiki to create a diary

I have changed the script to print out 90 days, and wondered if it would
be possible to add to this script some code to draw a horizontal line to
separate the months, and if anyone could tell me what this script should be.
